A territory is land utilized in that housing predominates,
as critical industrial and industrial areas. The housing may vary significantly
between, and through, residential areas. These embrace single-family housing,
multi-family residential, or mobile homes.
Zoning for residential use may permit some services or work
opportunities or may totally exclude business and industry. It may allow
high-density land use or solely allow rarity uses.
Residential segmentation typically includes a smaller way
(floor space ratio) than business, industrial or industrial / manufacturing
segmentation. The area may be large or small.
Residential development is property development for
residential functions.
Some such developments are called a subdivision when the
land is divided into lots with houses constructed on each lot. Such
developments became common throughout the late nineteenth century,
significantly within the type of tramcar suburbs.
